We did a few formal portraits immediately after the wedding ceremony and I loved that the backdrop was a judge's bench. This, I honestly think, is my favorite picture from the wedding. You can just read the joy and happiness on their faces and I love that! :) Enjoy,

They had a very intimate wedding and the ceremony was held at the courthouse. I had never shot a wedding in a courthouse before, so that was new for me. :)

How did I meet them you ask? Well, I took pictures of their dogs! After their little mini-session with me I joked and told them when they are ready to plan their wedding I would love to do the photography.
Fast forward a few months.....I got a call from Maureen to shoot her wedding! I NEVER thought I would get a WEDDING from a pet photography 'gig'!

Angie and her family were fantastic to work with! This was their first professional portrait session and Angie wanted everything to be perfect (like it should be!). We talked multiple times on the phone discussing locations, clothing, and the dreaded "what if" questions when behavior (from kids) comes into play.
I reassured her on everything and they decided on the "secret creek" as I am calling it.
And, I will admit it now, after the session....but, "I" was really nervous because Angie was so nervous that they wouldn't get "one good picture"! :) I KNEW they would, but I had never had a client concerned about it before! But, everything went fabulous! :) The weather was perfect, the water was a little chilly to cool us off, and the lighting was spot on!
Abigail did wonderful also! She loved the water and was very well behaved and really just enjoyed herself. Minnie also sent me a card, along with Abigail, to tell me that they had a great time! (Thanks Angie!) Angie, thank you so much for trusting me and I was thrilled to hear that you loved the pictures! You really made my day each and every email you sent telling me how much you all loved them! I was hoping my head would fit through the door with you pumping up my ego like that! haha
I am glad I was the photography to "make your Mother's Day"! :)

Sean and I could not have picked a more wonderful and talented photographer. Andrea Pender was more than accommodating and a pleasure to work with. She met us at the Dallas Arboretum for our engagement photo shoot, followed by a fabulous (but cold and windy) bridal shoot in the Stockyards, and finished with our wedding at the YWCA Grand Ball Room. For Mother's Day, I asked for only one gift....family pictures. I chose Andrea because I'd seen, and liked, her work, style, and personality. I wanted just ONE picture that I could treasure. Well, I got many pictures, so many that I had an extremely hard time picking which ones we should ultimately get printed. When I received my much anticipated gift on Mother's Day, I cried. Not only were the pictures absolutely stunning, but Andrea had sewn a decorative bag of fabric to put them in. It was her attention to detail and her willingness to go above and beyond that put the icing on the cake. I couldn't be happier with my pictures. They are truly a gift that I'll treasure forever! If you can dream it, she can put rhinestones on it....and if you can't dream it...she will help you come up with something awesome.
She would be great for you, wedding related, to do rhinestones on shirts, jackets, etc....that says Bride, Maid of Honor,....or "soon to be Mrs. xyz....".
I have even seen tiny little rhinestones on the bottom of wedding shoes that say "I do" (the part that doesn't touch the ground of a high heel) that was pretty cute! (When you are kneeling at the alter that can be read and I love it!)
She is doing a few shirts for me with my logo in rhinestones that match my colors exactly!
