A boy and his guitar...

He loves to play guitar and it was the center of our photoshoot! :) He was perfectly behaved and had a smile on his face during the entire session!

Maybe he is the next Eric Clapton....Jimi Hendrix.....and I took his first professional shoot with what he loves the most! :)

Melissa & Joe

Melissa and Joe are some of our dearest friends. Will and miss them a lot and wish they could be here in Texas with us!

When I was in Florida for some other clients I managed to have Melissa talk Joe into a photo shoot. At the time of the "talking into" Joe was ok with it and excited.....the day of....not so excited!

So, since I know them and I know how they work this was one of my quickest sessions ever!

I wanted to spend the rest of the afternoon with Melissa and Joe wanted to be ANYWHERE but having his picture taken! :)

Thanks guys! I had fun taking pictures of you....the first pictures since you were married like 8 years ago or something close to that! :)

Molly & Conner - Year FIVE!

That's right....I have now done pictures for them FIVE years in a row! They were my first clients EVER and I flew down to Florida this year to take their pictures...I am the only photographer they have experienced!

During the shoot, and it was in a very nice area, there was a random man walking around.....he said, "Hi!" very awkwardly and I answered with a, "Hello" in return and the kids were so shocked. They said, "Do you know that guy?!!!!" And, you know me...my answer was, "Yes, he is my next appointment." I was joking, but it took them a couple seconds to get it...that made for some smiles for sure! :)

It has been so nice to watch them grow up too!

During the shoot I asked them if they play any sports, dance class, etc...and Molly VERY quietly said, "We do fencing...." It took me a couple seconds to realize what she had just said (b/c if that was me I would have said it VERY loudly! lol). Wow, fencing! That is amazing...what a great and different activity to be involved in!

Andrea & Nathan and their new daughter!

I flew down to Florida a couple months ago to take pictures of Andrea and Nathan....they were a bride and groom about a year ago! There wedding was so much fun and it was awesome to take pictures of them again, now as a family!

Andrea....congratulations and I can't wait to do maternity pictures for you on your next trip to Dallas! :)

(Andrea and Nathan adopted Trina...the young lady in the pictures...and then about a month later found out they were expecting!)
